Jubilee Performing Arts Policies

A student registration form must be completed before the student will be allowed to join the class. A new registration/liability sheet must be filled out for each school year.

Jubilee’s curriculum is designed as a full-year learning program with two consecutive sessions: Fall and Spring. (We do offer separate summer classes and camps) Students are encouraged to stay in the same class each session based upon placement. Classes are based on enrollment, we do not offer refunds after the term has commenced.

Payment: We offer three different payment options: monthly, by term (fall & spring) and payment in full.

Most payments are made via online invoice.  If writing a check, please make checks payable to Jubilee Performing Arts. Scholarships applications are available. Please contact us if payment is a concern.  Unless a class is canceled due to inadequate enrollment, refunds will not be made.

Trial classes: Students are welcome to participate in a trial class if available. Please contact us about setting up a trial class.

Make Up Classes and School Closings: There is no refund for missed classes. Students may take a class of any genre offered at their age/skill level as a make-up class if a spot is available. We encourage make-ups for inclement weather/emergency closings and will give you recommended classes OR schedule a make up class if it affects more than two classes. Up to two make up classes for illnesses/personal absences can be scheduled per term.  An email will be sent out for any closures.  Please also check our social media pages. It is the quickest and most reliable way to post open/closed status.

Bullying:  Jubilee's goal is to provide a positive and enriching learning environment where students feel safe. We will not tolerate bullying of any kind. If there is an occurrence, the instructor will contact you. If there is no change in behavior it may result in dismissal.

Behavioral Problems: The instructor will contact you in case of a behavioral problem. In the situation that these issues make it difficult for other students to learn, dismissal is possible. We are willing to work with parents and do the best we can to prevent this situation without taking away from other students in the class.

Promptness: It is very important to arrive on time for class. Repetitive tardiness and/or absence may result in probation from performances. Please arrive and be ready 5 minutes before your class starts. Be prompt with pick-up at class dismissal.

Audience: No parents are permitted inside the studio except during Parent Observation and Recital Days. This allows the students to recognize and adjust to classroom etiquette with limited distraction. Parents are welcome to sit in the Fellowship Hall if available.

Volunteer Agreement: Jubilee Performing Arts depends on our amazing volunteers for the smooth running of shows.  Theatre is a team effort with many moving parts both on and behind the stage.  It is expected that every Jubilee family volunteer during one of our productions during the 2024 - 2025 season.  There will be a large number of volunteer offerings to match different gifting & abilities.  Families may choose to pay a $200 fee if opting out of volunteering.  If a family chooses not to volunteer, they will be charged the $200 opt out fee.
